Batman rocks, he is the best vigilante ever, I say vigilante because he is hardly a superhero. He has no superpowers, just a(un?)healthy obsession with bats and gadgets.
He is just as hard as the other superheroes, he even once gave Superman a bloody nose
by hooking up his exo-skeleton to the city power grid. I love the fact that Superman gets a good hiding from Batman (he nearly kills him), he is so bloody bumlicky of America it makes me sick.Interestingly enough there maybe (maybe not) a film on the way, Superman Vs Batman
Hopefully in the film they will have the Sons of Batman, (SOB) they were awesome.

By the way, Batman IS the man. Just about the ONLY good hero from DC Comics and he's not even super, as you point out. The rest of their characters are these perfect idols, all unflawed and boring with it - as America would see itself. Even Captain America (over at Marvel Comics) has an edge these days, fighting for the ideals the country was founded on rather than swear blind allegiance to The Powers That Be. So... er... DC Comics are shit except for Batman. DC Comics is Melody Maker to Marvel's NME.
