Edward R. Murrow post

I have just read some stuff about this guy here and I think that he should be an idol for American journalists to follow.
Someone should try and do something in America.

Something like this maybe? Download the short vid.

A quote from Edward R. Murrow in 1954;

"We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty, we must remember always that accusation is not proof, and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law."

"We will not walk in fear - one, of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of un-reason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men; Not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate, and to defend causes that were - for the moment - unpopular."

He was talking around about the time of McCarthy, he could be talking about America today, where people are called unpatriotic if they criticise the administration.

I think he believed in an American dream that sounded a lot better than the shit we got now.

Traingle wierdness post

How can this be true, I really don't know. I am drunk though.
Someone please explain!
Surely the area is the same and thus there should not be a gap.

Thanks to Mystical Forest Guardian from Sharevirus.com

The Hoff post

What more can I say!?
Apart from this quote from the Hoff;
"I'm coming to England in September and I want to find myself a beautiful girlfriend. But I don't want some dumb blonde. I'd like a woman who is really intelligent."

Vent on deceit post

Shouldn't really go into the details but I have to write something about this.

My motives to start with were far from noble.
I have made my life loads more complicated.
Totally fucked up a lot of my relationships.
Without thinking of consequence's I have told the truth.
Someone who has been lied to by everyone around them (including me), asks me a straight question.
I had to give a straight answer.

Here are some more Shakey faces, these ones come from Nottinghill.

As I said before, getting off your face is optional!

Drunk Sunday post

With warm up drinks that went a bit out of control the previous night, Drunk Sunday got off to a slow start. Both drinkers were feeling a bit 'bloaty'.
So with a gritty determination, they soldiered on.
Met up with a number of gaylords and proceeded to hit the bars of Brighton.
They never did find the elusive Blanc.
Love is in the air

Then I noticed something disturbing, my Schmooe seems to be having an affair right under my nose! Examine the evidence.

Do I look like I care?
