I think I was about 17 when I first saw this band, did lots of shrooms in a sandwich whilst on the Oxford bus going to the gig. Sarah fainted, I think, we wrecked (moshed) so much, I swear I lost about a stone in weight. From the first time I saw the Cardiacs, I became completly obsessed with them.
Shouting 'Who is him, who is him, it's Jim! it's Jim!' and other random shit like 'Show us your bottom' 'It's all snowy in the pond' etc.. ;) Their mixture of crazy childrens rhymes mixed with mental guitars and drums just sent us loopy. Was a very good trip.

brilliant.. i remember that gig up stairs in oxford, i thought the floor was going to collapse it was bouncing so hard.
i have vivid memories of duck and roger the horse and moshing.
yeh you was mashed too from what i remember.. i was the saviour for all when u couldnt skin up and i saved ya doob cos it was a mess
