Nah, I don't buy it. For one, the commentators are talking way too slowly to be intelligent beings. Secondly, how many skyscrapers have collapsed? How much do we know about what happens to them when they do?
Pyroclastic flow my arse. And so what if there were fires burning, a zillion tons of falling metal would produce a deal of heat and there'd be gas mains and all sorts under there.
Someone flew some planes into the buildings, the buildings collapsed, get over it. Sometimes shit happens...
